The privetaly owned vineyard of 8,5 hectares lies at the greater region of Koutsi (Nemea, Greece) at an altitude of 350 meters. The soil is clay with slopes providing good drainage. Harvesting usually starts in late September and ends in October.
Classic red wine vinification. 8-10 months aging in oak barrels. A Greek wine from the very famous wine area Nemea located in Peloponnese. Agiorgitiko variety is very similar in taste with the Italina sangiovesse.
Ready to drink upon release, it features generous aromas of red fruit and dried nuts, with a long, velvety finish. Can be cellared for an additional 3 to 5 years. Combine it with yellow cheeses, with red meat cooked with red sauces, pasta, bruschetta with bresaola.
